'Restoring Vision. Changing Lives'

Helping people see better for 25 years.
What
is a Synergeyes® Lens?
These contact lenses mixes rigid Gas Permeable and Soft Lens technology---the
comfort like a soft lens, but better vision like a gas permeable lens.
Can
I wear SynergEyes® lenses if I have severe astigmatism?
Yes. SynergEyes lenses can be desinged to fit over Astigmatic eyes and vision
is not affected by lens rotation... Giving you stable, clear vision – blink
after blink,
even at night.
Will
is work for Keratoconus or if I had poor results with LASIK and RK?
Yes. We can design, with Corneal Mapping, a Synergeyes lens to treat a range
of vision orders, including post-LASIK, RK, Corneal transplant and Keratoconus
patients.
Get another opinion from us, before you suffering any further with lousy vision!
I
wear rigid Gas Permeable hard type lenses. Will SynergEyes lenses work for me?
Yes. These were intially fitted for people who need Gas Permeable or Hard contact
lenses, but had issues with comfort. SynergEyes significantly reduces problems
of irritating debris that collect under typical lenses. Also, you no longer
have to worry about contact lenses popping out unexpectedly.
How
often should I replace my lenses?
It is advised that you replace these lenses periodically as prescribed. The
reason for replacing your contact lenses is to prevent build up of protein and
other
deposits that cause unwanted discomfort, dryness and less precise vision. We
schedule follow-up visits to help look for vision or fitting changes that may
require lens replacements.
How
much do these lenses cost?
After your needs are determined at exam time, options will be
discussed including other types of treatment. Fees vary for lenses depending
on your prescription and typically
range from $300 to $800 per pair. If medically necessary, most all fees are
usually covered if you have Vision Service Plan (VSP) or Eye Med Vision. You
may also qualify for
up to 18-month no interest through GE Care Credit with approval.
Do
I have to see a particular doctor to be fit with these lenses?
Yes, Synergeyes requires special training, testing, and certification before
a doctor becomes certified to fit these lenses. Dr. Steve Kurtin, Plano, Texas,
is one of the
first in Texas authorized to fit and design every type of Synergeyes
lens for patients needing Bifocal, Post-RK, LASIK, Keratoconus and Astigmatism
correction.
Dr. Kurtin is a Synergyeyes Platinum Fitters in the DFW area--- the highest level of expertise awarded by Synergeyes for providing outstanding patient care.
